Tchernov Cable SPECIAL


It’s a high-speed optical cable for connecting digital equipment via Toslink interface. Designed around a solid narrow aperture Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) fiber core with enhanced optical efficiency it ensures loss-free transmission of High Res Audio 24 bit/192 kHz through AES (S/PDIF) protocol at a minimum guaranteed speed of 250 Mbit/s. The finely polished core tips coupled with precision brass Toslink plugs make a tight alignment of the fiber core and connectors. A perfect transmitter/receiver conformity guarantees a highly efficient data transfer with extremely low jitter, resulting in a wide dynamic range across the full frequency bandwidth. A 2-layer PVC jacket provides excellent protection from vibrational loads. Light weight, impressive flexibility and less friction simplify concealed wiring in a confined in-wall cableways. The new Special Toslink Optical IC offers almost the same transmission quality as glass fiber optics but at a very competitive price and with the evident benefits of plastic: exemplary flexibility and durability. It is available in lengths from 1 m to 10 m ensuring it is ideal for all kind of installation.
