The third generation of our basic symmetrical interconnect incorporates some crucial design refinements. It is engineered around the time-proved 0.35 mm² BRC conductor. The 2-layer CAFPE® conductor insulation with the extended inner air-foamed PE layer is overlaid with the improved uniformity and homogeneity. The revised CAFPE®/SDB insulation/binding combination reduces distributed cable capacitance, permeability and signal energy loss. With regards to vibration and mechanical stress damping, we applied the all new combined jacket with the inner air-foamed PVC layer and the outer layer performed of solid thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) Elastollan®. Such a multilayer structure provides extra elasticity, unrivalled overall dielectric long-term stability and efficient absorption of acoustic noise and vibrational loads. Excellent mechanical strength and resistance to temperature fluctuations ensures it is suitable for a wide variety of cable applications. The new ergonomic Special RCA & XLR plugs with the pins made of 5 µ gold plated high purity copper make the connection easy and secure even when used with flush-mounted sockets. The finely tuned Special Balanced IC gets very close to its Classic counterpart, our all-time favorite in terms of musical fidelity. Extended and flat frequency response, stunning dynamics, enormous speed and transparency are the key sonic distinctions that make it confidently outperform the vast majority of the competition both at and indeed well above its price.
