The advantages of the design are the suspension of conductors in a longitudinal fibrous cotton medium with a large damping decrement using the FTDA® "Torsional Fiber Damping" method, as well as the individual "Semi-Air Tape Insulation" of SATI® conductors. These technologies provide an extended dynamic range of sound reproduction. The X-Shield® screen system effectively suppresses various interference in a wide band from LF to SHF. The drain wire integrated into the X-Shield® reduces contact noise in the shielding system and equalizes the shielding properties along the entire length. Its connection to the negative terminal of the speakers significantly increases the localization and spatial resolution of musical images when playing phonograms. Soft monolithic sheath made of unpainted medical elastic PVC with an antistatic additive in combination with a nylon mesh sleeve provides increased cable flexibility, extraordinary damping, reliable protection against vibrations and acoustic noise.
