The 2023 revision incorporates DSC (Distributed Symmetrical Conductor) architecture, the enhanced complex SATI®/SASDB® insulation and the overhauled X-Shield® as the multiple interference protection. DSC with its hexagonal spatial conductor straddling enables instantaneous group wave speed, low and stable impedance in a wider frequency range and better noise immunity up to 20-40 dB if compared to a conventional twisted conductor arrangement. SASDB® with the cotton tape underlayer provides efficient shield’s decoupling from the Cable Core and virtually eliminates electro-dynamic noise, generated in the shield. X-Shield® with the improved shielding properties upon curving and reduced contact noise in the shield structure rejects most of emitted interferences throughout the entire frequency spectrum. High-damping jacketing with TPU Elastollan® exemplifies unmatched mechanical strength and vibration absorption. With almost unlimited dynamic range it is an ideal solution not only for home AV, but for professional use in recording studios, as well as for ultra wide dynamic range frequency measurement systems and medical equipment.
