The revised insulation/binding combination steps down the common-mode component distributed capacitance, decreases relative permittivity and signal energy loss within the dielectric. The enhanced SE provides superior EMI suppression especially at LF and virtually eliminates electro-dynamic noise, generated in the shield. The Reference MkII IC is jacketed with highly elastic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) .
