CIDAS stands for Cord Insulating & Damping System. BRC conductors and PVC cords of the same diameter are configured next nearest around a central PVC cord in a hexagonal structure with maximum packing factor ensuring highest conformity and an exact round profile for jacket concentricity. Interleaving cords are made of SPVC with low dielectric permeability and high mechanical decrement.
