Though the third generation retains the time-proved 2.85 mm2 conductor calibre, other construction facets like the complex
CAFPE®/SASDB®
insulation and a tightly braided shield have been thoughtfully tuned. A special drain wire, tracked along the whole shield, steps down contact noise, provides low and constant shield impedance and improves its uniformity at every point. When connected to the negative binding post of the speaker it boosts spatial presentation. Exemplary flexibility and resistance to external stress, derived from the Combined 2-layer SPVC jacket with the air-foamed inner layer, makes it suitable for concealed in-floor wirings. With wide-ranging dynamics, phenomenal stage impression and physicality the new Classic MkIII SC should match most of the audiophile grade speakers regardless of their design ethos and specification. Due to the cable construction complexity and excessive material consumption the initial burn-in period (time during which the best sonic performance is reached) is suggested as 100 hours of uninterrupted music playback at least. We highly recommend playing music of different genres.
Due to our policy of continuous product development, all specifications are subject to change without notice.
