Both 2- & 3-pole AC powerline cords are built around the 16 AWG (1.5 mm2) BRC conductors and with the same inner design specialness. The scaled-down 16 AWG BRC conductors with fewer crystal-grain boundaries generate lower intrinsic distortion and are less EMI sensitive. This extends the attainable dynamic range, increases fine detail definition and immediacy throughout the entire frequency spectrum.
